acoustically driven indie rock. i make music to challenge myself and to hopefully enhance the enjoyment of someones day. or just something drive home to or clean one's tube. =) my music is an extension of my ego, my inner thoughts at any given moment. i make this sound like there is a ton of thought behind my music..well, nope..i just kinda let it ooze out of my brain then to my mouth and hands.
George Potor and Joe DeCristopher both were raised in New Jersey in the 1950's and 60's, and schooled and settled in Pennsylvania, but they didn't meet until late 1979. Though they played occasionally as a duo, their first excursion as a band was with the ppits, a motley crew of seven (and sometimes more), full of political irreverence and fun. The ppits morphed into a quintet, Veto and the Hitmen, which like the ppits, performed twice on WVIA's Homegrown Music with a bundle of original tunes,

Derek Springer has been playing guitar for over thirty years. He's been writing for almost as long. He is heavily influenced by the music his father listened to, such as the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Eric Clapton and more. He also has a lot of modern influences, including Foo Fighters, Barenaked Ladies, Van Halen and Stevie Ray Vaughan.
