Organ Den Studio is a unique studio. It was designed so I could play and do my own engeneering at the same time, so it has no physical seperate control room. I can sit behind my two hammonds and rhodes, and both the visual and audio monitors are right in front of me. I never try and write in a style, I just write songs as the Prince Ploppys static ensemble...erm, realy me and my acoustic guitar [although many musicians appear on various recordings, courtesy of one of my bands or groups i have put together, or just given there time freely]. I have been told i have a very distictive voice and understandable words, which is good because i write these songs.....

George Potor and Joe DeCristopher both were raised in New Jersey in the 1950's and 60's, and schooled and settled in Pennsylvania, but they didn't meet until late 1979. Though they played occasionally as a duo, their first excursion as a band was with the ppits, a motley crew of seven (and sometimes more), full of political irreverence and fun.
