VISIT BLOGSPOT for our history in Music and Magic. Ace Parties of Wilmslow - Tony and Sue - Children's Magic Shows, Big Puppets etc traded for 39 years in Cheshire, Trafford, North Manchester, South Manchester and even further afield doing Cabaret Shows with Marionettes designed by the late Richard Langford of York. We were two shy, most unassuming people who's path through life brought us in contact with Celebrities - famous (and infamous) people. Although not Jewish ourselves the Manchester Jewish Communities helped launch our business way back in the early 1980s. Our move from Stockport to Wilmslow in 1985 opened golden gates to business for us too in what was THEN, not now! "old money" territory of Cheshire, - delightfully nice and quaint very rich people who used to serve us Earl Grey Tea off silverware.
I have no Music Recorded either as a lad with Joan Bates Dancing School, Stockport and her Shows at Belle Vue, Manchester with "120 children taking part" advertised on one occasion; nor anything with my Band The Alan Anthony Set which did so many top-line prestige functions in the late 1970s and early 1980s including the opening of the Daily Star Newspaper (side band). There is however a video here of a brief revival in 2009 with 3 original members including myself at Bolton Town Hall, England. I do have various recordings from Pontins Prestatyn Sands 1977-79, plus recordings illustrated on Vinyl via YouTube Videos etc. Just go to here: DEDICATED SITE

A working Musician at age 14. Switched to Magic Cabaret, Party Business age 30 with my wife Susan which hugely altered our lives both financially and in most other respects taking us into places and social circles we never dreamed of. Retired 2019 a few weeks before Covid. Now in a gorgeous area of Staffordshire, England with local Cheshire family and family in Madrid, Spain. Still 4 generational members of family alive in Oct. 2025 at time of last update. An Aunt approaching 106 on my side of family and my father in law approaching 98 (his brother 93) on Susan's side of family. I bear no grudges or grievances to anyone in my life, either living or dead.Anything else?

MAGNIFICENT......one of my all time favorites of Johann Stauss II . As a child I was taught to Waltz with this song playing on a record.
