***news*** summer passes by quietly...atleast, that's how it may appear to the outside world...behind closed doors, there's works in progress, can't say too much yet...but there are some serious grooves planned for this fall. ***bio*** Electric Honey started in 2002 when Shaz decided it had been silent long enough after the split of her old band Sub diO in 2000. She had all these lyrics lying around gathering dust and decided it was about time she should overcome her shyness, pick up the guitar and write some songs again. After having her heart broken, the inspiration for her first song "warning signs" just came naturally. Then, playing around with an intrumental version of Nada Surf's Slow Down, done by a friend on the internet, she got really addicted to the fun of recording. Even when the equipment for recording was far from professional (studio great coffee and free internet, recording device:an 8 euro headset), it was a great opportunity to start recording her very own material. Everything she did was considered to be just a demo, but when she asked people for their opinions, it turned out that alot of people already liked the songs the way they were. More was yet to come. The response to her first online EP called "RED" was so overwelming, that she soon recorded a second called "The world out there" At this moment Electric Honey is involved in making music in all shapes and forms, either on her own or with the help and expertise of others.
