Story behind the song
A few years ago a friends 8 year old daughter was killed in a car accident. Her name was Ilah. The night after her funneral (which was heart wrentching) I had a dream about her being a bird. I wrote this song aroudn her name (which always sounded musical to me). Ilah, your mom and I miss you very much.
