I'm a prolific songwriter who writes/plays/and sings in a variety of styles from Americana to Power Pop to Experimental Electronica with some forays into serious composition. I was a bit player in the so called "Akron Scene" from the late '70's and lived and recorded in the house where the Waitresses recorded "I know what boys like" and where most of the other local bands like Devo and Tin Huey recorded their demos with the incredible Rick Daily at the controls. Some of my old tunes from back in those days are still scattered around the internet. I'm known for a decent melody every now and again and I find an occasional hook. Why do I keep at it? Like a friend of mine said recently, "When I try to stop, it gives me a headache". These days I'm involved in a couple of international musical collaborations but the songs currently on this site are all written/played/and sung by me with some backing vocals from my wife, the beautiful and sexy Ramona and recorded in my home studio. The exception is Universe, which is a work in progress and features some jamming by Shankarji (in England) on guitars along with my work tracks. The finished project will be much more fleshed out. It's up here by request. (Thanks for asking, Gary!) By request, I put a few of the old tunes up every now and again and try to keep new songs coming on a pretty regular basis.
