Folk Rock bit of introspection on the big lies we tell ourselves and others.
Artist picture
Singer Songwriter, Acoustic acid jazz kind of thing.
I write songs. I record them. I play them for the dog(s). In a druken fit of ego, I convinced a guy to convince some guys to record them with me. Here they are. Please throw money - I'll do anything for $605/hr. Oh, and the best way to explore them and download them is to click the "music" hyper;link on the left hand side of this page. If I could control it, that would be flashing 24 point purple.

Story behind the song
No animals were actually hurt in the making of this song. As with many of my songs, my subconscious wrote this in about an hour (except for the middle verse which came the next day). I have only really just recently figured out exactly what it means to me. I leave you to do the same for yourself.
Lyrics
Told my children my first lie today Told them that dog had up and run away Truth is Buster didn't make it that far down by the road and the passing cars The lies come easy and the lies come fast Don't think while you drink - just raise a glass Where are you going? Here you are. Down by the road and the passing cars So ask yourself as you look above do you lead a life you love? and if you don't, while its this I pray you will find your strength today. And the lies come easy and the lies come fast don't think while you drink - just raise a glass Where are you going? When here you are? Down by the road and the passing cars Money ain't honey, and the wheel don't go Round to the people you know wrapped in the moment, with an ear to the ground you can hear truth in the passing sound. That the lies come easy and the lies come fast don't think while you drink - just raise a glass Where are you going? When here you are? Down by the road and the passing cars
