Jessi Hamilton is a pop-folk singer/songwriter and pianist from Raleigh, NC. Jessi began playing the piano at age four and started writing and recording her first songs at fourteen. In 2004, she released her debut self-titled album, and completed her second album, "Rebirth," in 2008. She has been named "one of the best independent female artists in the country" by RockRGrl magazine. She has also been featured on numerous recordings and has performed along the East Coast. "People need to hear Jessi's voice. She is an artist who sings with a sincerity that will melt people's souls. Mine did." "(Jessi Hamilton) has a really beautiful voice . . . It is reminiscent of both Stevie Nicks and Madonna." "I am honored to be working with Jessi Hamilton. These are great songs with very strong melodies. She is a remarkable talent." "Jessi Hamilton is living proof that there are still musical artists out there who are individually evolved rather than mass-produced." "Don't be fooled! Jessi Hamilton is not some gorgeous fashion model who wants to be a singer. Ok, the gorgeous part is true, but trust me, this girl can sing! And she's a quirky, intelligent songwriter too. You'll be glad you were introduced to Jessi Hamilton."

Lyrics
Rain falls from your eyes tonight Haze drifts through your mind Light fades from sight The sun won't shine And you say you will survive Though your heart is dying inside CHORUS: I can see the rain falling down underneath your eyes I can feel the change from a girl into a butterfly I can see my face and the world in a different light I believe that hope is a way into a whole new life Leaves fall as they scatter at your feet Storm clouds rush to meet Thunder echoes in your mind From the lightning you are blind And you say you will survive Though your heart is dying inside CHORUS When the skies turn gray, you fall to your knees to pray When your hope fades away, let the light lead the way CHORUS
