Del’ Patio, Sensato and Zawezo.. The Bio. From the legendary Vico C. to Tego Calderon, hip hop and the Spanish language have had a marriage longer than popular music gives credit. Fortunately, for record labels and distributors alike this relationship will continue to grow and in the end the names Sensato(W. Reyna) and Zawezo(A. Garcia) a.k.a. Del’ Patio will be synonymous with the boom of the mind blowing melting pot of sounds, known as Reggaeton / Latin hip hop. Sensato and Zawezo have meshed the traditional rhythms of their Dominican Republic homeland with the streets of New York City to create a unique sound with an edge necessary to bring a relatively new market to groundbreaking heights. These artists are spokespeople for a large and continuously growing Dominican-American community looking for their representation in the world of Reggaeton and Spanish Hip Hop, as well as becoming household names with the Latin American market as a whole. Sensato’s personal life has been marred with many trials and tribulations, most notably his near death battle with liver disease. Surviving a liver transplant, Sensato was left with a newfound sense of life. More focused than ever he will stop at nothing to see his dreams become a reality. Sensato’s boyish good looks, style, and personal story make him extremely marketable. His ability to paint a picture with words, fill a dance floor, and provoke thought within his listeners, give him the tools to be one of the greats. Zawezo’s mature song writing and melodic hooks provide a sound like no other. His rugged good looks and his versatility as a rapper and singer give him a lethal combination that can carry a track with one voice. Raised in one of the most impoverished towns of the Dominican Republic until his late teenage years, Zawezo has a distinctive view of life and an exceptionally strong work, labeling him as a perfectionist would be an understatement. These extremely dedicated young men with unbelievable talent are diamonds in the rough waiting to be found, whom along with current management are in the market for a support team to assist in bringing current projects to a larger scale. After years of collaborating in unorganized projects Sensato and Zawezo decided to join forces to take their music to new levels. With the financial and managerial backing of their current representative FR from the Tiburon Records team, along with the sizzling sounds of up and coming NY producer “K to the O”, the new project self titled “Del’ Patio” commenced. With their commitment to success and professionalism 20 tracks were completed by the end of summer 2005 in where a promotional 8 track demo was released crowning Del’ Patio an undisputed underground sensation. First taste of success this duo experienced came in October 2005 when they were featured on the legendary Spanish TV show “Sabado Gigante” on two consecutive dates with two mind blowing performances. During the aforementioned weeks they participated in a Reggaeton marketing campaign by the Spanish broadcasting station Univision entitled “ Las Estrellas Del Futuro Del Reggaeton”. In addition, in September 2005 they appeared as guests and performed live in the popular morning TV show called “Despierta America”. Both of these shows are televised in over 40 Latin American countries given them incredible international exposure in such a small period of time. Since breaking into the New York Reggaeton scene the two aspiring MC’s have been noticed by many DJ’s especially with their Merengue/Reggaeton influenced track “Lo Cuero” that has been spotted topping charts within several DJ organizations from United Stated to Italy. In late 2005 Del' Patio signed on for a promotional tour through their native Dominican Republic. They were accompanied by the newest members to the join the Tiburon Records family, rapper/producer extraordinaire “K to the O” and the internationally known “Lyon Music”. The tour successfully brought attention to the second promotional release from Tiburon Records entitled “M.U.S.I.C”. Their stay in the country was filled with crowd drawing performances, radio spots and television appearances. Be on the look out for the release of Tiburon Records first series of mix-tapes entitled “ Del Patio Pa’ La Mansion, Volume 1” that will be recorded and mastered at the labels new state of the art studio, fittingly named T-buron Studios. In the meantime, these two extremely versatile artists have been sharpening their skills in various nightclub style venues. These performances have generated a local buzz throughout each community aiding in their ever-improving showmanship. Growing together as artists as well as consummate professionals, one would believe that they have been working together for years.
