A California native who was raised on the central coast in Monterey, Xander now works in L.A. as a professional singer/songwriter & actor. He also has his own recording studio located in NoHo. There, he is able to write and produce his original music (as well as music that has been licensed in Commercials, TV & Film projects worldwide) with his producer and writing partner, Morgan Taylor Reid. Most recently, his song "Sick Of Dreaming" was featured on the season two premiere of ABC's ROOKIE BLUE. Last year, Sick Of Dreaming was featured on The CW's long running hit "One Tree Hill." Another song, "So Far So Long" was featured in episodes of Ghost Whisperer on CBS & Castle on ABC. More placements are upcoming on Friends With Benefits (NBC), and Hard Times of RJ Berger (MTV). Alexander has also written and recorded for other artists as well. Alexander is building a sizable following on the internet via Facebook, Youtube, Twitter etc. His Facebook fan-page averages 200 NEW fans per day and now has over 55,000 fans... with almost 100,000 fans between all his social sites. The word really seems to be spreading by electronic grass roots about his music. He's been a finalist in the competitions: Acoustic Live, Amercian Idol underground, The UK Songwriting Contest and the prestigious International Songwriting Competition (ISC). Today, he continues to perform live around L.A. (regularly at Hotel Cafe) and across the country, establishing his position as an emotionally revealing and talented new artist. His latest EP was produced by Morgan Taylor Reid and Mastered by Ted Jensen. He's been compared to recording artists like: Phoenix, Brandon Flowers, John Mayer, Keane, Pete Yorn and Coldplay. In the current singer/songwriter renaissance, Alexander Cardinale hopes to stand out with his dense, contagious melodies and honest, poetic lyricism.
