Story behind the song
Well, a few months ago, a friend of mine gave me a tape he found in the trash in front of a house next store to his. The tape was an old answering machine tape. On it was a long series of messages left by some unknown individual that was apparently involved with the owner of the answering machine. At the beginning, he just seems to want to get in touch with her, but as it goes on, he grows more and more upset. As i listened to it I realised he was going from two emotional extreems. I decided, after editing it down, it would be cool to make a music bed that follows his feelings. This is experimental. Since the tape was found in a pile of trash, trash is public property when it hits the curb, and since he left the messages, he does not own the rights to the tape. This is to make you think
