Guy Archerd has been playing guitar since 1966 and has performed with many local and regional bands throughout the United States. Being a versatile performer with roots in Blues and Jazz, Guy continues to perform his music at club venues, festivals, and public events. He has also made several television and public radio appearances. His release of "Solitude" on Statue Records is a good showcase of Guy's smooth guitar style. Some people say that Guy writes suicide songs, but he just considers them to be songs about life, the loss of love, and moving on against all odds. This latest group of songs are both inspiring and moving; they showcase Guys ability to make a person feel him playing his guitar.
