"when one met two" began with a desire to try something new. After playing in bands for several years, I wanted to do a project with new musicians and a new perspective. While this does not mean an end to any of my other musical endeavors, I wanted to record something where, ultimately, I had to answer to no one but myself. After enlisting the assistance of long-time producer Ted Comerford, I began the process of finding both the right songs and the right musicians for the project.
I wanted this cd to be a mixture of some of my older songs that we could now reinvent and some of the newer songs that I had written but had not yet seen the light of day (or darkness of a club). The older songs that were chosen were "swell" and "somebody told me"' - they joined new songs "answers" and "desert plain." Consider the last track something else altogether - a cool-down or musical palette cleanser.
I was fortunate enough to have the generous support of Jarrett (bass), J.P. (drums), and "Max Power" (backing vocals) from Virginia Coalition, as well as Vivion from Juniper Lane. Without their help and talent, this whole thing would still be an inaudible idea. If you haven't already heard their bands - click the links and check them out - you'll be glad you did.
This has been a long, arduous road - we started last September - but I am thrilled with the finished product and hope you will be as well. So, check out the songs, buy the disc, send me your comments, do whatever you like - have fun with it. Thanks for visiting and please do spread the word.

Nice one Marc. I went 3 on the production because I thought the secondary voice was a bit louder than it should have been. Especially if its to echo the main vocal. I know you didn't ask for opinions, but since I can't vote the other aspectws without leaving one, I figured I'd leave one.
