Gordon Elijah James Machipiness was born in Rugby North Dakota on February 14, 1988 and grew up in the Dunseith-Belcourt area of the Turtle Mountains, in North Central North Dakota. Gordon's home address is Belcourt, North Dakota but he is currently deployed to Kosovo and is scheduled to return in July 2010. Gordon got his passion for music by first learning to play the guitar. His mother began teaching him when he was 10 and after that he started writing his own lyrics and he learned covers to songs he already loved. Gordon's style of music is unique, he mixes rock with a lil grunge, and adds a Machipiness flare, he loves writing his own songs and performing them for family and friends. Gordon loves writing his own songs and also has a passion for performing them, he is currently working on new singles to add to his colection of originals. Gordon comes from a very large family of talented people, his mother father and brother also enjoy playing the guitar and singing. He is not only a son and brother, but he is also a loving father and devoted friend. His best quality is his love and passion for what he does. He can take a simple idea and turn it into a song with potential. He strives to make his music as great as possible and always accepts criticism, good or bad. Besides his music, Gordon has many qualities and skills, currently he is enlisted in the North Dakota National Guard, he also enjoys writing, drawing, playing video games and spending time with his daughter, family and friends. Gordon's main career goal is to record his music and be heard. He would like to get a record deal and eventually "make it big", his passion is music and he is going to persue his goals whole-heartly. In life Gordon's goals are to care for his family and be able to support them, other then music his family is his number one priority.
