Young Swag, or Ryan Talbert, began his attempt to making music since 2000, back when he was 8 after hearing rappers such as Ludacris and Nelly. He wrote rhymes mostly everyday, and said them usually to peers and family in order to receive critic. After his disapproval of his attempt at rapping, he gave up and started watching and listening to a broader range of music. In 2001, Ryan heard the new upcoming band, Linkin Park, and immediately knew that he wanted to become a musician. After Listening to Linkin Park, he began to become familiar with bands such as slipknot, creed, system of a down, and disturbed, and before long he bought him a fender guitar. In 2002, Ryan took his 4 years of singing, and piano lessons, and started to display them. Eager to Make a new image for himself, he taught himself to play the guitar, usually spending about 3 hours a day practicing. However, many ignored him stating that wanting to be a musician with such a huge variety in genre was a waste of time. Early 2003, Ryan met a Skylier Sampson, who also had the same taste as ryan in music, listening to metal and rap. The two become good friends and always talked about how they would work together to get famous. Later in that year. Skylier, told ryan about a recording program called Fruity Loops which they used in order to record. Excited be this information, he bought it with money he saved and begin to create instrumentals. Skylier who later got Fruity loops also began making music. The two battled for the recognition for who had the better instrumentals, which led to an increase abilities to create music. In 2006, 3 years later, Ryan joined a band named Un-Stable which soon fell out due to a lack of will. Ryan began doing all the parts by himself in another project Now named as Bridges Of Dawn. Feeling a new passion due to the increase of positive reception, he bought a mic and began recording his first full songs, but bored with his band, he decided to further is rap career. After experimenting with multiple names such as supernatural, The legend, and general fresh, his cousin, Shelby, told his to call himself young swag, since she noted he had swagger. And since the name has stuck. In 2007, Ryan released a demo containing 3 rap songs and 2 rock songs noted as the Thuganomics. Poorly engineered, and lyrics comparable to a childrens book, he began to seek help. After Talking with his friend Skylier, who began working with Ray J and Justin Jones, ryan took a new approach to music making in all aspects. Ryan began experimenting with a dancing/club approach to his rap songs which was highly regarded as being able to be played on tv. Ecstatic he began to work on the album nonstop. After a year and 1 month Ryan Proclaimed the album done, and to be released Janurary 26, 2009. Not forgetting what ultimately made him pursue a music career, he also has almost completed his Solo Band works with mutiple vst and plugins he purchased.
