Loco In Laredo words and music by Paul Wilson & David Beckhom copyright2008pwmusic1 I've always been a cowboy, Rode the trails from town to town. Chased woman... even caught a few. Towed the line tried not to cross it, Keep my cool and not lose it, But it happened, a time or two. I was dangerous in Dallas, Got loose down in El Paso. Barely conscious in San Antone last June. The mistake down by the border When I was just to drunk to see, Got all of Texas after me. Chorus) I went loco in Laredo on a hot Saturday night, With a pistol in my pocket, and a belly full of fight. Didn't mean to pull the trigger, but that stranger forced my hand. I went loco in Laredo and ain't nobody... Gonna give a damn. I got all of Texas after me, and the night is wearin' long. The Rio Grande's in front of me, And the moon's shinin' to strong. I hear hoofbeat behind me, Sounds like my heart pounding in my chest, Ya go loca in Laredo be ready to take on Texas' best. Chorus) I went loco in Laredo on a hot Saturday night, With a pistol in my pocket and a belly full of fight. Didn't mean to pull the trigger, But that stranger forced my hand. I went loco in Laredo and ain't nobody... Gonna give a damn. Bridge I could run across the river, and never look behind. Would anybody miss, me would anybody cry? Or I could turn and face Texas and make my final stand. Cause I went loca in Laredo and ain't nobody gonna give a damn. Chours I went loco in laredo on a hot Saturday night. With a pistol in my pocket and a belly full of fight. I didn't mean to pull the trigger, But that stranger forced my hand. I went loco in Laredo and ain't nobody... Gonna give a damn. Tag I went loco in Laredo and ain't nobody... gonna give a damn.

“Really love the guitar work on this, it 's very deep and rich sounding. It 's definitely the kind of folk/country music that most everyone can enjoy because it 's musically impressive. The singer's voice is smooth and enjoyable to listen to, and the lyrics remind me of the storytelling that Jim Croce often did. All in all, really nice.” “The vocalist is great, and the lyrics is good. The melody works find for this narrative singing, and the accompaniment has a running pace that moves the story forward. Good to hear on the road, and to keep awake during the day, with the song being a kind companion.” “this is a very authentic country style song. the intro reminded me of 60s spaghetti westerns and their soundtracks. the lyrics tell an authentic story as well, he's got all of texas after him. loco in loredo is a catchy phrase for the chorus. this country western male vocalist has a very good tone, deep and rich with the right amount of twang that country fans will like.” “A

Howdy, Paul, This is a great song, a real classic/authentic american sound all round. I particularly like your vocals, really full, 'man's' voice:). Take care mate, Mauri.
