Lyrics
Prodigal Son It was out in the moonlight Half a mile from LA The West Wind was blowing Between the Straights and the Gays And out in the distance Stood the Prodigal Son Beyond the resistance Of songs that should not be sung And some came for glory And others for gold And some told a story That just should not be told And out in the distance Stood the Prodigal Son Beyond the resistance Of things that should not be done Out in the moonlight Half a mile from LA The West Wind was blowing Between the Straights and the Gays And off in the distance Stood the Prodigal Son Beyond the resistance Of things that should not be done And I want to know Oh how high And the Ice pack grows Oh how high And the children know Oh how high And Jesus knows ... As Jesus and Mary standing by Standing by - Standing by- Oh how high Oh how high Oh how high ...

Hi Johnny! Love this song! I won't be technical about it. Lets talk about feelings. I felt like in a middle of a dream, all in purple with all you around playing. Could see you and the sax player mooving around me closer than the others...Just a great moment. Wouldn't want to wake up. Wonderful work. Zilia.

Immediately taken in by the great groove and sax work. Very powerful lyrics, wonderful signature delivery. Drums and bass propell the tune along with a very natural and relaxed feel. Really special, and again, signature. One of those tunes you wish would go on forever, what a beautifully fitting fade. World class brilliance! Congratulations to everyone that contributed. Will download to enjoy many more times, thank you. Wishing you all much happiness!

John,This is so unique! It has such a strange (again unique)feel to the melody and mix.It really engulfs me as a listener and after a bit I am there, right in the middle of the conflict.I dont think this would work without Art's horn work, and your way cool vocal track just make this very very special.Love the live drums(Way to go BigDaddyWolf) Very bold concept and lyrics, but I like that you approached as a narrator and not so much taking sides. I really really like this, the distorted guitar, smooth flowing bass..............It presents the feelings of the situation to a "T" This would be perfect as a movie soundtrack with credits rolling at the end of a very touching and moving film Congratulations gentlemen!!! John/Anthony Toth...........fantastic writing and really good production too!!! Downloading it now :) P e a c e
