Lyrics
walking in this rain thats falling from the sky reminds me of the tears that were falling from your eye That day you left me you up and left me I hadn't noticed it was such a sunny day one never really does until their sunny days have gone away floating in the clouds is where you'll find my mind it's the best place one can go to leave their thoughts behind I'll catch a rainbow wherever it goes I gave up searching for the pot of gold I'm just searching for the place I can thaw a heart thats grown so cold Next time I see you I'll have no reason left to hold your hand and if you see me would you please try and understand It's snowing in my head I've nothing ledft to show my rabbit ears don't work just like not so long ago That day you left me you up and left me I hadn't noticed it was such a sunny day one never really does until their sunny days have gone away

Chas, you do that retro jazz stuff so well. Part of the reason for its authenticity is in your vocal vibrato which also shows up in your horn playing. That quick deep vibrato is sort of out of style these days, but was very much the "thing" in the era of music you're channeling. Cool stuff.
