Story behind the song
Connect was a written by A-sharp and SK. SK and I work together at a poster shop. We are always talking politics. We wanted to write a song that inspired people to come together. SK wrote a short verse and I gave it a melody. I then wrote my part inspired by Noam Chomsky. SK then wrote his spoken word the day after watching Bowling for Columbine by Michael More. DJ transplant found all of the sounds in his crates on the fly. They made the song come alive. Pacman and Jeff both worked their parts into a catchy drone that stays in your head for days.
