Story behind the song
It's about a girl that I "used" to know who, it turns out, has become a prostitute. When I found out I felt compelled to write this song. Although the lyrics imply that I was a paying customer I hasten to add I am only using artistic licence. All in all, an uplifting, yet very sad song. I really don't know what has become of her...
