Welcome! I am a singer/songwriter of different styles of Christian and Country Music....Enjoy the message I bring, and may your heart be ministered to.
Hello! I'm very glad you stopped in to listen and visit. :) The message I carry is simply this...Jesus loves you and I do too. Hope you enjoy what you hear, and get a blessing from the music, as God does not give His people gifts to just set them upon the shelf, and never be used. I'm only as good as the Lord helps me to be, and I'm thankful for the blessings He has bestowed upon me. I'm NOT perfect, never claimed to be; but on the other hand, I have a message to minister in song, and I do that to the best of my ability. I fully realize there are many songs I demo here that don't fit my style/voice, but I can't run out and get a singer that fits everytime I write a song. :) What I write or cover comes from the heart. I've endured many hard trials in my life, and each one has, in one way or the other made its way into a song that others can relate to. All of my songs except for noted exceptions are free downloads. I'm not a professional by any means, nor am I interested in becoming one; and so the music is given away just as freely as the message was given to me. Story behind the song
Wayne Pascall is an amazing acoustic artist who not only writes blessed songs, but also renders alot of his material from the Word of God. I frequent his page whenever I can because his material is truly a blessing to me. :) I heard this song on his site "Give a Little Love" which comes from the book of Corinthians, and asked him if he minded me covering it, as it speaks to my heart. He graciously consented, and here it is; put to a very simple arrangement. I fully realize mine doesn't even come close to what he did, but I also realize that each artist brings something different to each song. It took awhile, as I really had to think about how I wanted to arrange the song; there were a number of ways I could have done it. In the end, I opted for a really stripped down arrangement..sometimes music, if too big, can obscure the message, which, really is the most important part of any song. I hope you enjoy the listen, and please, take the time to check out Wayne's original version.
Lyrics
If I speak in a million tongues and have not love, It profits me nothing. If I have all knowledge and have not love It profits me nothing 1st chorus Cause love will never fail! And love is kind And love is here to stay And love will shine Give a little love! Give a little love! If I give my body and have not love It profits me nothing If I have all moving faith and have not love It profits me nothing Repeat 1st chorus He that loveth not Knoweth not God He that loveth not Knoweth not God 2nd Chorus For God is love For God is kind For God is here to stay And God will SHINE! Give a little love(repeat) copyright Wayne Pascall 2004

Tammy I am thrilled to hear your rendition of this song. You did a wonderful job and added such soft tones to this scripture song. The song suits your female vocals and your piano work here was just beautiful. I wish I had heard it sooner. I have not been visiting much on Soundclick lately. I am promising myself to have more music time in the new year. Thanks so much and God bless!

Hi Tammy, This is a very reflective version of Wayne's excellent composition. The slowed down, sparse arrangement is a good choice for these lyrics. The strings are sort of overpowered by the back up vocals a bit - I only say that because the strings sound so pretty. Your high voice sounds delightful. I like the way the track gradually builds toward the crescendo at the end. Sorry I've been such a stranger. Not much music in my life at this time. Yes, the piano sounds lovely, especially with the soft, warm string accompaniment. Well done! Johnny

Sounds lovely Tammy. Pretty good work for a day or so time spent on it. Very nice. Good to hear you back with some music I really like the strings. Great harmonies on this ending! No you were seeing right. After your scathing review I pulled the song and actually moved it down 4 octaves. I originally wrote it one step lower than that. JP moved it way up and I was still below him. I was fairly happy with the instrumental track but I dragged that song out for most of the summer as I did not like the vocals. I have a good bit of it redone and I like the lower key and it might be faster as we do disagree on that point.

Wow! Very powerful message, such a beautiful song, magnificent songwriting. Wonderful presentation.....nice to hear your piano work again, fits so well, gorgeous strings. A really great choice for you, your voice delivers this beauty with reverence yet sweetly, a classic and completely memorable gem. Love it!
