Nitpickin' in Mexico
1 Comment Share
Funky chicken-picked lines on the intro, yo-dee-le-hee inspired runs on the chorus & a latin-dipped section in the middle. Finish it w/ a classic hybrid run & you've got a nitpickin' man lost in mexico.

Story behind the song
A song I made for a guitar clinic back in 2002. Pardon the crappy sound & flaws, it's a live take & purely improv. Recorded during rehearsal using a Korg Pandora PXR4 via the built-in mic. Featuring Leo Barrite (Wicker Moss, True Faith) on drums & Nino Mesina (Afterimage, Southern Grass) on bass. Gear Used: Ibanez SC-420; Marshall JMP-1 preamp; Fender Stage 100
