Story behind the song
At the CBC, each month brings a new song challenge idea, sometimes a different genre, sometimes a different theme such as a birthday or holiday. This song began with a basic drum pattern and then I added hand drums. I then sent the track to Kristy to see if she could come up with something and I was amazed with her beautiful piccolo work. We both thought that it still needed something, so I sent the track to Jude and she added sitar, strings, chimes and cymbals, and WOW.

Kurt It's nice to see you and Kurt doing something outside of your normal style. I Love the sounds of the sitar, which you have captured here. I also love the sounds of the tabla. Great job.

Hi Kurty, Well, well you are drinking from the fab four fountain. Eastern music? Not sure I could even mentally go there but this is a wonderful piece. Very melodic and the piece is simply beautiful. Well Produced. I agree with Tammy your getting better all the time.

You are continuing to improve in leaps and bounds on everything; and I do mean EVERYTHING Kurty...I really like this, it reminds me of an instrumental straight out of the 80's. Your drum parts sound really good, and the music sounds pretty tight in timing...your collaborators did a fine job, too. I'm on my second listen, and I'm really enjoying the listen tonight. :D

Very beautiful song and performance!!!!!!!! Great collaboration!!! Kurt, I hope you are fine!!!! Are you feeling much better, now????? I have just got back again, yesterday evening. I was gone for the weekend again. This time a visit with my children. I worked in this place, today, sorting my goods and throwing away stuff I don't need. :) I am needing another weekday employment because I have placed all the products online that I was hired to insert. You sound greatly as I listen. I wish you and Elaine a happy evening, Hugs, Many Spinzies, and Many Blessings, Lekzeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Ahh, so nice! Wonderful piccolo work leads the way behind a fabulously weaved authentic Eastern backdrop. Love the exotic sounds and resulting textures. The drums are driving the tune along so well, very hypnotic. Magnificent production too. Such a beautiful collaboration, congratulations!
