Lyrics
Now You're Almost Gone When you see the dark skies comin' And the rain is about to fall Then you hear the thunder sound And the watchman on the wall And now the night is fallin' And the day is almost gone You've seen it You've done it all You've been there Now your almost gone Last night I heard you saying The pressure seems to much I felt the floorboards shaking I feel it in your touch I'm listening for you answers I think I found a cure I can tell by your reaction No solution will endure Remember the wings that lifted us to the heights we soared After all the cries of passion How can the echoes be ignored I heard a line from a Proverb Or maybe it was Psalms The poet was master His words sounded the alarm The truth is deep and moving The path is wide and long But life can be unnerving When you logic isn't strong You're a single celled occupant We all have just one mind Our painted walls divide us Business makes us blind Your voice to weak to whisper Your still singin' the blues Your bleeding heart still wonders But you don't have a clue Your turning into color Your turning into light You don't need a lamp post To guide you through the night
