Story behind the song
Seeing my son in his cap and gown really brought into focus the short time we have with our kids as they grow up. Even though this was graduation from middle school, it was a wake-up call that it won't be long before he's out on his own. I think all parents wonder if they did their very best as they look back at the time they had with their kids at home. Mixed with the joy and love, sometimes we have doubts and fears.
