Story behind the song

This collaboration was done completely over the Internet; I didn't even know "Lorin Swelk"'s real name or where he lived.  I heard his music on MP3.com, found his sense of humor similar to mine, and wrote him, and voila -- a collaboration.  We decided to do a twisted Christmas tune.

I wrote the lyrics (which we changed a bit before this version -- mine was raunchier) and provided the musical intro (via email), but I loved Lorin's idea of a rockin' Hammond organ, and I insisted he sing it.  He emailed me the finished music track, and I recorded dry backup vocals, which I emailed to him and he edited in.  When he emailed me the final version with his vocals, I almost pissed myself laughing, especially at his tortured high note ("DIEEE!") near the end and all the "war" sound fx.

Ah, I'd love to do more collaborations...
