Female fronted pop/rock/punk band
Third Day Promise is an indie/pop rock 5 piece band from Southern California, with members in Orange County as well as Los Angeles County. Formed in the spring of 2001 under the name “55 North”, the band played numerous shows in Southern California before deciding to change their name and style of music in summer of 2002. After six months of collaboration on new music and industry career goals, Third Day Promise has re-emerged with a self-released 5 song E.P. and a professional outlook.
Third Day Promise is currently promoting heavily in Orange County for their new E.P., which is expected to be in stores by July 1st, 2003. The band is soliciting college radio, magazines, and various online forums for exposure and interest. To date, the band has distributed over 3000 copies of a free 2 song sample CD to the general public, has various shows lined up in and around the Orange County area, and is planning a major online advertising campaign, targeting MP3.com, RollingStone.com, and other various online music sites. The band is also actively pursuing contacts and show collaboration for a tour of California in the summer of 2003.
Overall, the band plans to independently market and distribute it’s current E.P. and conduct a self-financed tour of California. Although Third Day Promise is seeking a major label debut, they are currently working towards a more realistic goal of success on an independent level
