Was playing around on my synth and was inspired by a guitar sound, which led to a little riff and the lyrics followed.

You reach the heart with this piece. To say a word: Lovely. In the musical aspect I find influences, good ones, from the seventies but I have to say again that your work looks and sounds more convincent and mature than that. Indeed you have apart of talent and experience a nice background on harmony and voice leading that makes your songs well constructed in every compositional aspect of rythm, melody and harmony. Very well produced Derek,I'd like to hear the vocals up just a bit, but they are lovely.Great simple melody and message.Real nice groove and really clean sound,nice instrumentation,love the organ and guitar work :) Very nice Job!!!
