Story behind the song
About a Flim Flam Man who has seen his better days
Lyrics
Mr Snowman Verse 1 You used to think that you had the world on a string You used to think that it was all in the way you smiled You used to do all the things that drove the girls wild And you had the gall to laugh about it all Verse 2 You used to think that you could go on forever You used to think that it was all in your attitude You used to say all the things that brought on admiration And you had the gall to laugh about it all Chorus Mr Snowman, the sun’s coming up on you Mr Snowman, the warmth’s catching up with you Mr Snowman, you ain’t got what you used to Mr Snowman, you might as well melt away in love Verse 3 You used to think that we looked to you for style You used to think that we owed you some gratitude You used to be the one that we glorified And you had the gall to laugh about it all Chorus Mr Snowman, the sun’s coming up on you Mr Snowman, the warmth’s catching up with you Mr Snowman, you ain’t got what you used to Mr Snowman, you might as well melt away in love
