Hipopular Drum 'N' Bass Blue in the Face for the whole Human Race Checking the Doppler for the Storm that is M-Band. Drum 'N' Bass, Rock, Breakbeat.
A combination of electronica, progressive, world music, and rock influences. Trying a mashup of styles to see what can be created. I started this thing back when I discovered I could share music on Soundclick years ago. FYI the name has been changed a few times as Ive found the various names of the band avatar taken by someone. Going with Jungle Monsta after one of the songs for now.

Story behind the song
Lyrics have been around awhile with a different more traditional rock tune (basically about all the new wave and progressive rock shows I saw in little clubs in the 80's), but it never worked. The drum and bass programming originally was for a more dissonant type tune, but then it finally jelled when I added the wah guitar and vocals....and really jelled with the lead guitar solo that interplays with the rest of the tune.
Lyrics
Travels take time to resolve themselves Dreams end up sometimes on shelves Some listening is done as the highway rolls on Turn for a second and the present is gone What's this I think I guess it's all right As I wonder around in the morning light We headed in directions and I leant an ear My mind took in all the sounds I could hear Smoke hovers around our heads and we search And life moves forward with a lurch I look around and see nothing and my head starts to spin Discovered places that I'd never been

WOW, It's like Butch Vig from the Beastie days collaborated with a soulful beatnick and Carlos Santana (guitars and vocals added a haunting veneer to the electronica backdrop)

Very, original. Reminds me of the great Hendrix. Absolutley wicked track.
