Derek,
Beautifull orchestral theme,
It is difficult to achieve realism with sampled orchestral sounds but stiil the sound reflects very clear your musical idea and the deep emotion of such an scene at Golgotta.
Yours is an original approach to this classic scennario, that has been touched by almost every composer through masses, requiems ...
Your work sounds at the same time contemporary, since you use profussely Maj7, 9th chords derived from Jazz, but at the same time retain the form of the more classical
"pied jesu" orchestration, I mean soft legato strings supporting the soloists..., were only are missing the Choirs, that I am sure you shouild have liked to introduce.
The result is a brilliant piece in conception and almost perfectly rendered into sound,

Derek,
Thank you so much for this wonderful gift of music. This composition is so beautiful and tender...it brings me to the garden of Gethsemane and expresses the love Jesus had for us in the midst of agony.
What a wonderful Savior we have...and what a wonderful way to show His love with music like this :)
With blessings, Lea
