Fitzgerald M. Flowers a.k.a Shine D’Beast, was born in Liberia, West Africa. He lived in Liberia for Seventeen years of his life. He survived all the thirteen years of civil war and moved to the United States of America in 2001. His goal was to become a NBA superstar. He played high school basketball in Liberia and the United States. He also went as far as playing college basketball in the US. But due to a severe knee injury, doctors told him, he would need surgery if he wanted to continue playing. Unfortunately, he didn’t have the funds to do the surgery. Therefore, he went on and finished college with A.A.S in Electronics Engineering. During this time of his life, he was completely bored and disappointed with life because basketball was all he knew. Surprisingly, one night while playing on the internet, he downloaded this music creation software call “Fruity Loops (FL Studio)”. He began playing around with and later fell in love with the art of Beat Making/Music Production. Therefore, he enrolled and completed classes on Audio Engineering at the “Art Institute of Philadelphia”. Later, bought a Pro-Tools set, Mpc1000 and some Dj equipments. So finally, here he is today, a full time Bio-Med Engineer, Music Producer/Engineer, Dj and a Promoter.
