I am an independent writer/performer/producer making summery sounds with lots of harmony, guitars, and emotion.
Brian Wilson said of his epic work Pet Sounds, "I wanted to make the listener feel loved." Those words have always remained with me and I hope to share loving, healing sounds with the listener as well.

It is a little like the late Gene Pittney which is to say the production is fantastic.

Johnny,
This is so smoooooth!! The way you have blended your vocal harmonies together with your guitar sounds has produced a real "radio ready" song. Don't know if you meant it that way, but this song can be both a physical and spiritual love song. It is well-written and executed. Pure silk!!

Mr Johnny ,
Oh this is so cool , what an intro ! this is really great , what a cool sound you have created here ,sounds like you have been listening to new Brian wilson but there is something new here something fresh with a neo retro late 60's high meloncholy harmony and angelic voices in the background , very , very cool production ,
The entire rythm section just socks like a champion boxer ,it hits and punches and steps , there is so much texture here .
Your main vocal and melody is outstanding in a field by itself , I mean classic , do you know you captured " sealed with a kiss " , the essence of that song as sung by Bobby Vinton ? ( the chorus )wowo...................what a way to start the year ! also I like the lyrics too. can't stop Listening , .....
well I was going to say I posted a psychedelic retro song myself but , it is called "play it again " I might as well have been singing about this song ........
cheers
happy new year

This is a hit song. Mainstream. Hits the target right in the center, bullseye. Point blank Bro.
Solid rhythm, melody, production, singing, backup vocals.
Solidly center of the hard target to nail.
Congratulations and Praise the Lord!!

Reminds me of a cousin to Hiding Place. Lovely melody. A real heartfelt message. Really liked your staccato rythm guitar. Where did you get the bongos in the opening? Sounding really good. Vocals are as always top notch.
Looks like the Steelers and San Diego. Better than playing Baltimore a 3rd time.
PSU got blown out in the 2nd quarter. 24 unanswered points. 14 in the last 2 minutes plus. Penalties killed them. Could have been a whole different game. But... USC is fast and good and that soft PSU secondary got chewed up by the pass. Every big game they fall into that.
They did recover to dominate the 4th quarter save some pride but not much.

Love this new one Johnny. seems a little different style - though I can't put my finger on what makes me feel that way.
Great vocal as usual (and melody). The background vocal arrangement is very cool.
Another winner! I don't have time to give it a few more listens right now but I'll be back...
Really great to hear more NEW music from you!
