Fall 2008 - I'm just getting started here on Soundclick and finding my way around. Thank you all for helping me get started here. This a great place to "park" my music, while I flesh out some ideas. Today most people think music is just "background noise", but I feel it is something should be listened to "in the moment" with attention to every detail. When I listen, I try to hear and what the artist/performer is trying to say with their music. I'm impressed with the great musicians and friendly, supportive people. Completely inspired and humbled by the talent which seems to be in good supply in Soundclick. So, take a listen to my music, drop me a line when you have time and let me know what you think, I'd love to hear from you! Be Well! Kevin PS - New music to drop soon so come soon and keep listening and downloading!

Story behind the song
New York City is a magical place at Christmas. Hustle and Bustle of the big city and a completely frantic pace during the season. This song attempts to match the energy, with a lot going on, and a NY theme. The middle has a quiet section, like the first snow in Central park but right back to the crazy pace, sometimes on the verge of loosing control, but every year it's always an exciting experience!

Very, Very nice! A jammin tune. Great guitar work, production, and I like the "Broadway" melody included in the already great melody you have created with your guitar. Like it! Robert Strom
Very innovative, solid awesome guitar work with a rockin' beat. The type of song you want to listen to over and over. Keep it up!

Smokin' git fiddle my friend! Congrats on the #1 hit!!!! Love the wah wah riffing and the quotes from "On Broadway". The break at 1:25 is awesome. Excellent showcase of different guitar styles/sounds - really keeps the listener hooked. If you get a chance, I have a new one up too called "I Am Here". Happy New Year, Johnny

Kev I'm giving you points for melody but, yes, I did spot a touch of On Broadway - was that the Drifters too? Quite a strong touch actually! Maybe it's only oldies like me who remember it! It was still a terrific lively tune and congrats on the DOUBLE no. 1! Now I'm gonna enjoy the rest of the comments. And, yes, I don't know Northern, but we were in NYC last year for the first time and we went to Times Square, which I thought was small!, and yes, we went to a show ...............It was a nice experience! All the best for 2009, pc

This is an excellent production Kevin! I don't know NY so well, but I have been there one time.. And you are grooving it perfectly! The Brodway theme fits so well in the vibe u gave to it! You're a pretty good guitarist! :) Merry Christmas! Michel.

As a big George Benson fan - I recognise the 'On Broadway' motive - The rock guitar adds plenty of zip - Brilliant track m'friend.
