Story behind the song
Favorite Time Of Year, is about my fascination with the lights of Christmas.
Lyrics
I actually have a complete Christmas CD titled : Christmas Is Here Again. It has 10 songs, 4 are my own. I play all instruments and sing on all songs, the style is basically country. I actually had radio air play last year on 2 local stations. I'm sending you just my originals, each under separate cover. The lyrics for the title track, Christmas Is Here Again, were written by my grandmother back in the 60s. Twenty years later I put music to them. Grandpa's Christmas Tree, is based on a true experience from my family in the early 60s. Favorite Time Of Year, is about my fascination with the lights of Christmas. Reason For The Season, In spite of the fun we have with the lights, trees, and Santa Claus, this song reminds us of what the real reason for the season is ; Jesus Christ. I will be putting these songs on my new page also very soon, I'll let you know it is up and running. Thanks for your interest,
