Story behind the song
My first work using EZDrummer loops. Really, just a fun Garage Rock exercise...but I like it, like it...Yes, I do!
Lyrics
She’s Got Me Now by Michael J. Smitreski 11/ 8/08 See the eyes on the pretty face She wants to draw you near. Hear her voice the very first time Hypnotic spells surround you. She’s got you now. You do all kinds of crazy things You’ve never done before. You treat her like a Princess She whispers she wants more She’s got you now. Break: What am I to do? I’m wrapped around her finger What would you do? I get into my car, and drive! (Instrumental break) Behind the wheel my time to think My thoughts steer clear of her. But mile after mile I am all alone I turn around to head on home She’s got me now. I pull into the driveway And try not to wake her She’ll never ask where I’ve been She knows she got me now

I like your use of the drum system. Song idea is good, too. Has energy. Good. Always a nice listen.

Mike,This made a huge huge difference. Bringing up the vocals and lowering the keys really changed the whole listening experience.I am no longer trying to struggle to hear lyrics and can easily understand them and even get more of the vocal characteristics that actually accent the entire song.I got to ask this, now when you listen,do you think the vocals are up too much now? Every song i do now I use this trick, but still when I listen I always think they are too high. But Everyone else says they are just right.Great job Mike. Ask those who have commented to come give another listen and see what kinda responses you have.I think you'll see a big difference. P e a c e Danny
