Soulful to the bone, singin the truth brotha ;) Love your unique style, and unique harmonies, I'm a girl who LOVES harmonies. Very cool layers in this song as well. Has a big CSN&Y feel. 60's feel with the organ and bluesy feel. Very nice production and mix, you 2 guys should do more collabs :) 5 stars! I'm new to your music and can't wait to find another gem on your list to enjoy, thanks for sharing your talent here on SC! ~strummergurl~

Well, this is different! Wow. Man, this is outtasite! So many cool sounds, so many different tones and textures. Your unusual harmonies with Dan and the unison parts as well are really wild. The blues guitar solo is right on the money, sounds like Clapton to me. The cello parts are just too cool for words. The organ is also a perfect touch - the mix is excellent. I'm very impressed. I'll have to go back and look up the lyrics - I couldn't catch it all in one listen. All I can say is wow. And Dave, thanks for the kind words on my new one. You blew me away with your review. Outstanding track you and Dan have produced here! Johnny

Love the style - a bluesy, Celtic crossover with a great vibe. Fantastic guitar work and excellent vocals/harmonies. Enjoyed it a lot!

I'm hearing shades of Crosby, Stills and Nash, and the group America in this song. :D Congratulations on a successful collab. :D

Hey David, Thanks you for the invitation to play on your awesome song! It was really a fun one to do! I would like to get together and write and record a real "70's" pop-type song someday, that would be very cool! Thanks again Dave. I sent the rough mix of BNB to Mr. Ian and he is going to add his hammond and piano tracks. He also asked to do the final mix, so after I get all the raw tracks together he will master it. It will probably be a week or so until I get anything back from him. Have a wonderful Sunday afternoon, talk to ya soon, :D

Hi Dave, Really liking this Give it up. Classic blues but with a Cello? Too much. Love the organ too. Still Band in the box? I guess I need to get some of that. Daniel is sounding good on the lead. Good collab guys!
