Ameris Shepard’s debut single is making a Scream Ameris Shepard has officially released her debut single, titled “Scream” last month. With the debut, she has been able to reach a far wider range of people than those who were just beginning back in the 80’s. Ameris has been selling copies of the single, as well as making it available for download through various sites on the internet. Now the craze seems to be finding its way to the radio. Just one month ago, Ameris finished recording the official version of her single Scream. It had already created a buzz on many sites with an acoustic version. Ameris was raising the charts on such places as Ourstage.com. It now seems to really be taking off with the official single, and even the radios across the country as well as the world are beginning to pick up on this phenomenon. Ameris debuted her single to the Arizona radio stations with K-Jack radio in Flagstaff. She held an interview with The Q 102.9 last week, where Scream has begun to get some attention from her listeners. She also sang her next single, titled “Turn off the lies” in A cappella. The sense of the new song was it will also be a hit. It turns out though, that there are many other radio stations picking up on Ameris’s hit. There has been radio play on 1300 WSN in Milwaukee Wisconsin, and 102.7 WEBN Shut up and rockCincinnati Ohio. It has also made the radio on London Kalling, which plays in the US as well as the UK. Ameris has also been placed in rotation on the Armed Forces radio station. If this was not enough of a good thing, there has been a scheduled performance at Hastings Bookstore in Flagstaff, Arizona. Another appearance has been in the talks to perform at the Hastings in Kingman, Arizona. At the request of MTV, Ameris has begun working on a video for Scream, and hopes to have it complete within the next few weeks. With so much happening, there is no telling what will be in store next. Ameris has had several appearances, and her single seems to be generating a buzz rarely seen from someone with little to no experience in the music world. But it is certain where Ameris is going, and where she will be within the next year. "There was no doubt in anyone's mind where Ameris was going." Her father said recently. And there is no doubt Ameris is going all the way to the top of the charts.
