Raquel Donovan was on the run, she had nowhere to go and she couldn't run no more. She headed to Jackson City, the place where there are no does and donts. She took that last turn and never made it back.

WELCOME IN THE BLUESBOX ------------------------------------ Thank you all for the support and the interest shown in our music since we started out in December 2006. BLUESBOX is a group of friends playing together, recording and uploading their stuff in the internet. It's not a traditional band ..... maybe it's more like an independent recording label. Everything is done without profit being involved, though. It costs us no big money to do it. I tell you: we would buy our instruments and use our time to play them anyway, wouldn't we ? There you go, as silly as it can be ..... we just do it for the sake of music. Unluckily we can be very lazy: most of the things are totally improvised ..... and recorded in a very basic way ..... but does it really matter ? Nobody's perfect ... right ? Thanks for your visit ..... we appreciate it. And remember .... you can listen, download, broadcast everything for free. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ [][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][] ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Here's who is who ..... _________________ - T-BONE MUSTANG a.k.a. Story behind the song
Raquel Donovan disappeared with all the money after the bank raid. She was on the run across the whole country, but she got tired of hiding. When she couldn't walk no more she took the last turn to Jackson City and never made it back. A place where you have no does and donts .... and you can never tell what's right and wrong. --------------------------------------------------- The song has been inspired by the famous Johnny Cash song. It is another view of that metaphoric town where he wanted to go with Dolly Parton. In this version the town is took by onother point of view .... it is a place where there are no moral and rules .... and you have it right upfront.
Lyrics
I'm gonna tell you sweety never made it out Jackson City the place is some kind of a mess that brings you blaming yourself you got no does and donts and you gonna have it right upfront I took the last turn to Jackson City I took the last turn to Jackson City I had nowhere to go when I took that last turn I couldn't walk no more I said this can't be wrong I couldn't walk no more I said this can't be wrong that's where I do belong I must made it to Jackson City I'm gonna tell you sweety never made it out Jackson City I had nowhere to go so I took that damn last turn you got no does and donts you cannot tell what's right and wrong ---------------------------------------------------- Music, Lyrics & Arrangement: Andrea Cremona Elena Bozzarelli: voice Davide Devoti: rhytm & lead guitar Marcello Cremona: bass & acoustic guitar Andrea Cremona: drums & rhytm guitar
