I've been writing and playing music for 30 years now and as the technology became better and cheaper I have practiced the difficult task to produce as well. A timeless quality to this sweet gentle song, I like the lyric 'a tiny light to a shooting star' and 'a single flame to a rising sun' - very beautifully created and sung, I can hear this song opening a film with a fading sepia background on a dusty street with a few people drifting by in their own worlds, maybe one person smiling to their own daydreams, yes this is very atmospheric, romantic and very catchy and wistful, excellent songwriting, you've made a sentimental masterpiece, bravo!!! Adding to our station, not sure which one yet, it will be fun choosing the perfect spot to include this lovely song.

I second that - it was worth stayin' up all night. This is very beautiful lyrics and the tune just caresses the words. Love your jazz chords though I wouldn't quite call it jazz - more a pop ballad with jazz chords. You sing it so wonderful, with such a fragile voice. You sure know what the words are sayin'.
