Sonic 3 'Azure Lake' - Faithfully Blue

Story behind the song
Totally STOKED about this piece:
I was listening to the Azure Lake theme and 'Faithfully' by Journey, and I realized that the main chord progression from Faithfully would work well with the Azure Lake theme.
So, in the beginning, the track starts with a double reed duet (Bassoon and Oboe) with a piano part that resembles that of Faithfully (in fact, the highest octave played on the piano plays the melody of Faithfully if you listen closely). Then there's a huge drop off and a building flanged ostinato synth pattern. Gated synth patterns, some trance basslines and some arps lead to the square-lead playing the Azure Lake theme, followed by another square-lead playing the 'oh-oh' part from Faithfully. This segues into the bridge from the Azure Lake theme which is accompanied by breakbeat/DnB drums; then a synth solo finishes this bridge. Then, a recapitulation of the main theme arrives and eventually leads to another huge drop off. After this drop off, the piano part from the intro takes the track to the end with a retard and a little high octave arpeggio serves as some what of a catharsis for the piece.
