Les Rodriguez was born in Naguabo, Puerto Rico. He grew up in New York City, where he began to sing barbershop style harmony at the age of 14. He has been singing ever since. At the age of 17, his family returned to Puerto Rico. Les pursued private voice lessons with Baritone, Samuel Perez, a graduate of the Conservatory of Music of Puerto Rico, where Samuel earned a degree in vocal performance. Though the years Les pursued his passion for barbershop style music by singing with numerous quartets, including the Majesty Vocal Quartet, a professional male performance vocal band with rich harmony, of which Les is a founding member.
