Story behind the song
Music has always had a powerful affect on my moods and I've always turned to it to bring me out of the "dumps". I wrote the song hoping that it may be able to lift up somebody some where's spirits if they ever found themselves unhappy or depressed (Life Really Sucks sometimes !!!). The original verses were quite angry and introspective; I simplified them to fit the direction of the rest of the band's songs. Where was the song written ???. The entire song (Music/Lyrics) just popped into my head while driving home after a band practice. A complete/rough version of the song was recorded within 5 hours the next day on a 4-track Fostex Cassette Gizmo.
