A song created with the intention of sounding like a 1960s rock group. Instruments: 12 string Rickenbacker CW 360, J160E Gibson acoustic, Gretsch Country Classic for guitar chink, and Fender Precision Bass.
british invasion
I wanted to do something with my new 12 string Rickenbacker guitar and ended up with this. I was motivated to sound like George Harrison using his 12 string. I tried to stay away from the Byrds Rick sound which is different.
Lyrics
I don't believe what she says to me
Don't understand the way she acts
And I don't believe in her
I suspect what she says
And I don't know the truth
She talks in rhyme and tells a lie
I don't ask why and that is OK
Is the fear of losing
Is the fear of knowing
She doesn't love anymore
She doesn't love
This is note perfect for the era you've chosen to 'sing' praises to. The instrumentation is clean and bright as a new pin. Like it. A LOT.
