Zigatango was formed in early 2006 by a group of young musicians keen to explore the styles of Argentinean Tango and traditional Gypsy music. Their ever-growing repertoire showcases a variety of different musical combinations; and in April 2007, they joined forces with a dazzlingly gifted young juggler, Alex Duhig, to perform at . Zigatango has since attracted the talents of additional musicians, as well as Gypsy dancer Ivanna Mayorenko. Together, they continue to perform around Perth and Fremantle, either as a dynamic musical act, or incorporating juggling, dancing and magic tricks into a 'street theater'-type performance.
