Story behind the song
I wrote these lyrics in 1995.
Lyrics
She's as pretty as a flower Her skin as white as snow You could never miss her Her hair shines like gold She dances in her seclusion In the tiny room she calls home Swaying to the music Playing in her head I've often tried to talk with her She acts as if she's deaf Occasionally I hear her whispering Softly to herself Anyone else to her does not exist Surviving in her dungeon Does she know life's bliss You can live without a heart You can go without a home You can sail upon an ocean And never be known Meaningless Existence You create on your own His hair as dark and night His eyes as black as choal He walks into the room Commanding all the control She could not resist him He sees whats left of her soul You can live without a heart You can go without a home You can sail upon this ocean and never be known Meaningless Existence You create on your own.

Really like this a lot, luv the way you've wrapped your vocals around the melody. And the extremely talented backing musicians sound fabulous as well. A well deserved #1!

Congrats on the entire project in general. And the #1 chart spot!! And you had some ace help on it, too! That would be great if we could get together on something done "live" in a studio. Last one we had (we loved it), whole building got sold. I think we still have some tunes straggling around under "Circle of Friends (US)." I will round up a list of sites where you can find some more. Won't mention any names, but someone pulled the more popular ones off before disbanding. Talk to you later. Harry
