Lyrics
(Male vocal) It's the end of a long, hard working day, That was work and now it's time to play, Put the tractor in the barn, Get cleaned up and leave the farm, Head down the road (with my date) (Female vocal) We can hear the band begin to play, And we're still a quarter mile away, Oh my darlin you look so fine, And I'm so glad that your mine, And you've been on my mind all day. (Both -taking turns) (Female vocal) We hear the leader of the band, (Male vocal) Come and take your honey by the hand, (Both) Come on now and join the dance, And pretty soon you'll understand, What it means to dance to romance, (Instrumental break) (Male vocal) As the band continues to play, (Female vocal) We're up close and we begin to sway (Both) How I wish I had a kiss, And I sure it would be bliss, A kiss from you would really make my day, (Instrumental Break) (Female vocal) We hear the leader of the band, (Male vocal) Now I think you all can understand, (Both) And you're glad you took the chance, As you courted hand in hand, Now you've all danced to romance, (Both) Yes, it's time to dance to romance, Come and take your honey by the hand, Come on now and join the dance, And pretty soon you'll understand, What it means to dance to romance.... Instrumental End

Hey another new one ? wow a duet with Tammy ? this is a cool song , the melody is catchy along with rythm guitar , you know that is so cool how the melody is the same for the boy and girl lines , I like that and then the harmony together of course , this is a classic style of duet, I have heard R n B duets that just confuse me . this would be such a good live song at a Dance hall wouldn't it ? I am going down to the VFW....... cheers D

A down to earth, really fun track. So well written, hanging on every word. Romantic, sincere, harkens back to the innocent days of youth. Your guitar work is distinctly your own, a true gift. The vocals are very strong as always, Tammy's voice shimmers here, fabulous harmony too!

I really enjoyed listening to your new duet, it put a smile on my face straight away. Tammy, your voice sounds really beautiful on this song track, and Kurt, you already know how I feel about your amazing voice, so no new news there. :-) A very sweet melody..it captured the spirit of innocence and light-hearted playfulness very well, I thought...well done! ~ Terri
