Exclusive Rights: $80-$500 Leasing Rights: $20-$100 All prices are reasonable Contact me for more information GENERAL POLICY In order for anyone to to record on, modify or alter the instrumentals I produce. The artists must sign a written legal contract provided and endorsed by me in order to use ANY beat for commercial and broadcast purposes. This means that you CANNOT use any instrumentals for any type of profit. This includes performing live, putting it on the radio, shooting a music video, placing it on your album and mixtapes, and especially illegally re-selling it. I wish that you may respect me as another artist, putting his creativity to work. Please do not attempt to steal from me, 'cause YOU WILL get sued. You must obtain an Exclusive Rights Contract or a Lease Rights Contract in order to use any of my instrumentals for commercial and broadcast purposes. Free Downloads I keep my free downloads open. You may only use these beats for soundclick freestyles, demos and non profit purposes only. This DOES NOT mean it's a free beat. Please do not alter or remove any tags attached to beats that are free to use, it's there for a reason. You MUST credit "Produced by Aerial Assault Productions" for any recordings and use you've made on any of my beats. Sample Clearance The artist understands that the producer may have utilized a sample from another artist's recordings, which was previously copyrighted to create the instrumental. The Producer will give the artist full disclosure of the origin of all samples. In the event that the song from the recording is published, utilizing the instrumental, the artist/company (whichever applies) will assume all responsibility for setting the copyright infringement and the Producer will not be liable. If any other information on the artist/song sampled for the instrumental is required, the artist will consult the Producer and will get the information concerning the origin of the samples utilized in the song. In the event that the artist is not able to retrieve the name of a sampled artists from the producer, the artist will be responsible in obtaining the names of any sampled artists/songs and getting the samples cleared. The artist/company (whichever applies) will accept total responsibility for any changes made to the tracks after the producer has delivered the master tracks. ------------------------------------------------- FREQUENTLY ANSWERED QUESTIONS What are the differences between Exclusive rights and Leasing rights? EXCLUSIVE RIGHTS: With exclusive rights you'll be able to use the beat for all profitable commercial and broadcast purposes. This includes albums, compilations, mixtapes, live shows, radio play, websites, TV, etc. Exclusive rights are sold to only one user and cannot be resold or transferred to any other party by Aerial Assault Productions or the purchaser. Aerial Assault Productions retains the production credit rights so Aerial Assault Productions will go in the credits as the producer of the beat. Package deals are available for exclusive rights if you buy in bulk. LEASING RIGHTS: With leasing rights you can use the beat for only ONE profitable commercial or broadcast purpose, you will have a non-exclusive license to the beat. Say you wanted to use a beat for your album that you'll be selling, if you purchase Leasing Rights you will not be able to use the beat for anything except placement on that specific album. That means you cannot use the beat for any other album, no compilations, live shows, radio play, tv, etc. Leasing rights can be sold multiple times by Aerial Assault Productions and cannot be resold or transferred to any other party by anyone but Aerial Assault Productions. If you are on a lower budget then this is a perfect option, the price is much lower than exclusive rights and package deals are always negotiable. Do you offer package deals if I buy more than one beat? Yes. Package deals are always available with Exclusive rights and Leasing rights. The more you buy the better the deal is. How does the beat buying process exactly work? What steps are taken? First you decide on which beat you want to purchase, which rights you want for that beat, and how you want to pay. You will then send the payment we agreed on to the mailing address I provide. Once I've received the payment I will then ship out the package to you Priority delivery. Included in the package will be a CD with the beat on it as a full length audio file for stereo use, on the CD as data will be the beat as a full length wav file and the separate parts of the beat as wav files for computer use, and along with the CD will be a signed legal contract handing you exclusive or leasing rights to the beat. So you will receive a 6" x 9" envelope and the contents will be one CD and one contract. When can I expect my beat to arrive once you have received the payment for it? If you pay with a money order, cashier's check, Pay Pal or Western Union, then you can expect the package within 3-5 days. You can also have it shipped overnight if you pay the extra shipping which usually runs $15 dollars. If you pay with a personal/business check then I have to wait until the check clears before I send out the package. Checks usually clear within 3-5 business days, so your package will arrive within 6-10 days. Will you produce for me for free? Can I have a beat for free to use on my album I'll be selling? We can split the profits 50/50! No. I do not do anything for free or for trade under any circumstances. This is my only occupation and means of income so nothing is free. I give everyone access to the beats on my website for non-profitable usage, I keep my download options on for everyone and most producers don't even do that anymore. If you're serious about your music then you won't mind investing in it, it takes money to make money.
