Elisha Zaporelostzi's first performances were the Open Stages put on by the Bytown Live in Ottawa Ontario, Canada. It is how Neil Young and Joni Mitchell started. Phreap magazine is a one page thing that went around Ottawa in the 1980s. Now it is a web site; http://home.att.ne.jp/blue/patchan With the help of Joe-Charly Smith, Molly Ding, Calhoon-Fred Febealie, and Butter Jones I was able to put out Phreap magazine.

Story behind the song
This is from an early Midi file I made in about 1998. It is from William Barley's 1596 book 'A new Booke of Tabliture for the Orpharion' and is the first of 3 galliards to the Countesse of Sussex that were composed by Philip Rosseter. These must be the earliest compositions that we know of written by Philip Rosseter and the first documents of his existence.

Hmmmmm, this is good...sounds like crumhorns. The ending is a bit abrupt, but otherwise, very, very good. I love crumhorns, espeically good with cheesecake. So, I' ll give you five stars, but only four for production, cos you ended it too abruptly. Oh, and nothing for vocals or lyrics...but I am sure you will understand why!

Hi Patrick, This sounds great. A fantastic sound on this and beautiful melody hard to believe it is that old. And even harder to believe you came up with this. WOW! Sorry it took me awhile to get over here. Hope all is well in the land of the rising sun. Take care and glad you have kept in touch.
