Hello! I'm very glad you stopped in to listen and visit. :) The message I carry is simply this...Jesus loves you and I do too. Hope you enjoy what you hear, and get a blessing from the music, as God does not give His people gifts to just set them upon the shelf, and never be used. I'm only as good as the Lord helps me to be, and I'm thankful for the blessings He has bestowed upon me. I'm NOT perfect, never claimed to be; but on the other hand, I have a message to minister in song, and I do that to the best of my ability. I fully realize there are many songs I demo here that don't fit my style/voice, but I can't run out and get a singer that fits everytime I write a song. :) What I write or cover comes from the heart. I've endured many hard trials in my life, and each one has, in one way or the other made its way into a song that others can relate to. All of my songs except for noted exceptions are free downloads. I'm not a professional by any means, nor am I interested in becoming one; and so the music is given away just as freely as the message was given to me. Story behind the song
I wrote this little song in 1996, another song that tells of my faith in the Lord..short and sweet, but a good message. :) The Lord WILL be there for you in everything..and He carries you when the need is the greatest..and He IS the source of the strength that comes from within you. All you have to do is ask. I used to sing this song in church ALOT; it was one of my favorites to do back then. :) I hope you enjoy the listen. :)

Tammy my girl, how are you? This is great Tammy and very up-lifting, a great arrangement and harmonies as always. Tammy, I like the traditional Gospel feel on this one - love the 3/4 time. I also really liked the way you started off with the chorus and a full vocal arrangement. This is very, very listenable, and the pretty harmonies bouy up the encouraging lyrics with a loving, full sound. Well done, this is one of my Tammy faves - I have to spin it a second time - once wasn't enough! Congrats, Johnny

Tammy, this has a classic contempory christian sound like some old Sandy Patti records from the 80's doesn't it ? I used to have " the Best of Amy grant " from her early christian period and some Sandy Patti ,, Brian Duncan, Charlie Peacock were more to my taste at the time , but the female gospel songs really ," El Shadai " that was a good one , so I am rambling , anyway very nice traditional arrangement and nice singing and everything , nice mix and production as usual with an uplifting message like footsteps in the sand .... cheers David
